‘ME’

Some people think, some people write and some people blog. Before a day or two, I was none of them.

I always used to be creative, my poems and stories well-celebrated amongst family, friends and teachers. As a kid, my reading and writing talent was appreciated and awarded with precious books. Lately though, I hadn’t done any of those, without a conscious realization of it.

A couple days ago, I was at a friend’s house for an after-party. The guys wanted to have a couple more drinks and I really wasn’t sure what I wanted to do. I saw a few books lying by the bed. I asked for a suggestion – to which book was more worthy of immediate reading. He picked this particular one out and as I read it, I did not realize when tears sneaked into my eyes and extended to my cheeks. Somewhere within, I realized. I realized that amidst this jungle people call ‘Routine’, I had gotten lost somewhere in its depths. I realized how all these days, I had isolated myself from ‘ME’!

So then, I decided to blog… Blog not for others to read or interpret, but blog to remind me of ‘MYSELF’ when I resent to do so consciously. It was only then, that I realized how much I missed ‘ME’

Here is one for ‘ME’ and for all those like ‘ME’…

Cheers!

  1. hiya! See, I’m the first one to comment on your blog… lol!

Anyways, it is exactly like you’ve identified….

Self expression is not always for others to let peep inside us, but also to let one’s self to glance at his/her inner self and check whether everything’s alright and fine o’ not!

Not inclined to preach more and conduct gyaan sessions in the very beginning of your step ahead, I would close this note by wishing you great satisfaction in all your future expressions!

Life is good… will forever be!

  2. And hey, I forgot to mention in my previous comment…

A wonderful usage of words here above… quite creative and contemporary like you’ve claimed to be… lol!

    hehe… best o’ luck!

    Hey Shiwu,

It was nice to know about your blog and was much happier by the intention of preparing the blog for “ONESELF” thats YOU here. And as very rightly said by Viral above, the words and phrases used in the Introduction are very very nice.

Writing something is not always for praising the people or to make a show that what a great or fantastic writer you are or to teach the readers if what is what. Everyone in the world is very smart and they are the best judge for themselves to decide what is good and what is not! It should always be written for our own satisfaction of doing some creative thing.

May GOD bless you for a very good future ahead on the world of the bloggers!!!!!

    The journey has just started……..

I like the way your first post’s shaped. hard to believe you dont write/blog too often 🙂
read the other posts. nice work.
suggestion: the font’s a little difficult to read. try tweaking that a bit if you can. Cheers!
P.S: glad you enjoyed the “Tiger Tales” post. If there’s one thing that makes my day, it’s a good rant 😀

  23. shiwuz said

Ashish, a good rant is something that makes my day as well… i m hoping to post some new stuff soon… about the fonts, i’ve had another reader complain about the same, but I dont see it, maybe try to adjust your screen resolution…

and i’ll keep coming to your blog often…

    cheers!
